Orange Blossom Park

Orange Blossom Park, located at the corner of Orange Blossom and Rodden Road, is best known as the take out point for recreational rafters who raft down from Knights Ferry. This spacious, grassy park is an ideal place to end your river recreation trip, or to plan a group picnic, or to just relax on long summer days!

Orange Blossom is scattered with picnic tables and BBQ stands, and also has two restroom areas, as well as an outdoor shower. It has a large grass field that is perfect for pick-up soccer or volleyball games, and also has a built-in horseshoe pit…but you do need to bring your own horseshoes!

Orange Blossom Park also has a walking trail that goes along the river bank for about ½ a mile, and is great for riverside walking. There are two boat put-in and take out areas, and the water around Orange Blossom Park, from June to September, is usually shallow enough to splash around in (but do remember to always wear a life jacket)!

Orange Blossom, during the summer months, is where the river shuttle operates (to Knights Ferry) from roughly 2:00PM to 5:30PM daily. The shuttle is free to commercial rafting guests, but is not to private rafters. If you want info on catching the shuttle, you can call 209-848-4800. There is a group BBQ site at the park as well, which can be reserved in advance by calling the Army Corp of Engineers at 209-881-3517. The group site holds about 40 people at a time, and there is a charge to hold it. Walk-up picnic tables are first come first serve and are free for the public to use.
