Oakdale Recreation Area

Oakdale Recreation Area is a spacious, winding park that borders the northern bank of the Stanislaus River in Oakdale. Located at the end of Liberini Road in Oakdale, the park provides access to fishing ponds, boat put in and take out, and walking trails.

Oakdale Recreation Area is a common ending point for the Orange Blossom to Oakdale float trip, a mellow, family friendly float trip on the Stanislaus River. The park has a large supply of parking, as well as multiple areas where you can put in and take out recreational watercraft.

This area is best known for the various fishing holes that exist alongside the river. A popular spot for local fishermen, be sure to keep the volume down so as not to disturb the anglers!
